School-Based Physical Therapist - Spencerport, New York

Make a difference this summer by providing crucial physical therapy services to students ages K-22 in a dynamic educational setting. Work onsite and directly impact students' development and access to learning through individualized care and collaboration with district professionals.


Key Qualifications:

• Active New York State Physical Therapist license required (must provide license and resume for consideration)
• Experience delivering PT services in school settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with students across a wide age and ability spectrum
• Collaborative approach with educators and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to support student IEP goals during the Extended School Year (ESY) program
• Assess, plan, and implement targeted therapy based on student needs, modifying as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of goals, progress, and session notes in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth and participation
• Participate in team meetings, student reviews, and ongoing case management as needed
• Uphold district standards for student care, safety, and confidentiality throughout the contract

Role Details:

• Contract term: July 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026
• Full-time hours (35/week), Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Worksite located in a supportive, resource-rich district environment
