Speech Language Pathologist carries out individualized therapy programs including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. The Speech Therapist supervises therapy aides and students. Your role will include:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs for patients in Acute care, Inpatient Rehab, and/or Outpatient.
• Coordinate the treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services.
• Develop comprehensive goals for treatment to maximize patient outcomes.
• Deliver care and modify the care plan in accordance with the patient's needs.
• Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and colleagues.

What qualifications you will need:

• Master's degree in Speech – Language Pathology
• Current Missouri State professional license or license eligible
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) OR currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in the process to obtain the CCC-SLP within 2 years from hire date.
• BCLS required
• Prior one year of hospital/health care related experience is preferred.
