Provides analysis related to the design, development and implementation.Generate hardware and firmware requirements specifications based on System requirementsDevelop top-level and detailed designs based on hardware / firmware requirementsDevelop test plan (unit test build-up integration)Define/document interfaces between hardware subassembliesGenerate/modify test procedures and perform/monitor testingSystems/V&V support for hardware/software integration (HIS), Design validation testing (DVT), Acceptance test procedure (ATP), testing in the field and testing that is customer-witnessedCustomer/vendor/sub-contractor interactionsProvide hardware resource utilization estimates & measurementsParticipate in peer reviews of both hardware and firmwareMentor & direct junior level Electrical Engineers [Eng.
