Shift Details

This position requires working the night shift, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking qualified healthcare professionals with the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience.
• A total of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty area is required.
• Valid Ohio license or a compact state license must be held prior to submitting an application.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to starting the position.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is essential.

Reference Requirements

One recent reference is required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty area of application. Co-worker references will not be accepted.

Assessment and Compliance

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate evaluations will be conducted during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is necessary to continue in the position.
• Background checks will be reviewed by the facility. Any open case will disqualify a candidate.
• Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, while all other travelers must be nicotine-free.

Holiday Requirements

The selected traveler must commit to working at least every other holiday.

Location

This position is based in Cleveland, OH.

Contract Information

• Travelers will have an opportunity to remain on assignment for up to 18 months.
• A six-month break is required before returning unless client approval is obtained.

Module Requirements

Contracted travelers are expected to complete necessary training modules, with certain hours being billable. Additional time needed for training outside the pre-start modules will not be billable.
