Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Full-Time Day Shift

The RN Clinical Nurse in this role provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, supporting organizational policies and evidence-based practices. They practice in a clinical environment guided by shared governance, professional models, and standards set by regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation tailored to individual patient needs, emphasizing critical thinking and cultural competence. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making to optimize care outcomes. Ensure documentation of care is accurate, timely, and compliant with policies, fostering a respectful and inclusive clinical environment. Collaborate with the healthcare team via interdisciplinary rounds and communication methods, promoting teamwork and resource efficiency. Lead and participate in performance improvement, research activities, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient safety and quality of care. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and healthcare staff, supporting professional development and workforce sustainability. Adhere to all organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, including safety goals. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Active RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required at hire. Associate or diploma in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills.
