Neurology- Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing neuroscience team in Chicago. This is a general neurology role focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with common neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, headaches, seizures, neuropathy) Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with neurologists, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care Participate in inpatient consults and/or outpatient clinic visits as assigned Document care in the electronic medical record in a timely manner Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Illinois license or eligibility for licensure Board certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, or equivalent) Prior neurology or inpatient experience preferred, but not required Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Full-time position Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Daytime schedule with occasional weekend or call coverage depending on department needs. Retirement plan with employer contribution. Paid time off and CME allowance.
