Salary 120k-160k
We’re a growing public accounting firm looking to add an experienced Audit Manager to our Nonprofit & Government Services team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals located in or around the Burlington, NC area who are looking for a flexible hybrid environment with strong long-term growth potential.
Our team works closely with mission-driven organizations including nonprofits, foundations, associations, charter schools, healthcare organizations, and government-funded entities. What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and manage audits, reviews, and compilations for nonprofit and governmental clients
Oversee Single Audits and compliance engagements
Serve as the primary client contact and build long-term relationships
Review financial statements and audit workpapers
Mentor and develop seniors and staff accountants
Assist with practice development and client growth initiatives
Work closely with leadership on engagement strategy and team planning
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of public accounting audit experience
Strong background working with nonprofit, governmental, or Single Audit clients
CPA preferred or actively pursuing
Experience managing engagements and leading teams
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Ability to balance multiple projects in a collaborative environment
