Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to manage pharmacy operations with a strong focus on communication and collaboration within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment and be proficient in overseeing day-to-day pharmacy functions, including compliance and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), managing all aspects of pharmacy operations in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with the 340B drug pricing program and maintain accurate program records.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other staff to optimize workflow and service delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication with internal providers and healthcare teams, emphasizing a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Utilize Best Rx system for pharmacy management and record-keeping.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working on-site within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellence in provider collaboration is critical.
- Current Florida Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Proven ability to manage compliance, team supervision, and pharmacy operations effectively.
