Title Dental hygienist Job Description Comprehensive Hygiene Services: Perform a full range of dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, detailed patient assessments, and non-surgical periodontal therapy. Patient Education and Retention: Promote patient retention and drive treatment plan acceptance through excellent communication, thorough education, and fostering strong patient rapport. Production Goals: Actively work to achieve personal and office production goals, maximizing success within the collections-based compensation model. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate seamlessly with dentists, assistants, and the administrative team to ensure a positive and seamless patient journey. Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in strict accordance with office protocols and safety guidelines. Salary Range full-time $70,900 - $90,600 per year - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. - Compensation Model: Highly competitive collections-based compensation set at 49.9% of total collections, offering significant earning potential tied directly to performance. Shift & Schedule Operating Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Typical Hours: Shifts run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break built in (8:00 AM–1:00 PM, 2:00 PM–5:00 PM). Weekends: No weekend work required. Requirements Licensure: Valid and unrestricted Dental Hygiene License (RDH). Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in providing comprehensive periodontal therapy. Work Style: Self-motivated, comfortable working effectively in a fast-paced setting, and driven to succeed within a collections-based environment. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferences Certification: Current Laser Certification. Software: Experience utilizing Dentrix Ascend dental software.
