The successful candidate will ideally have great computer skills, international S/R experience and a positive, "get it done" attitude. We are a 100+ year old, family held, international sales and manufacturing company. Our Shipping and Receiving team in Beverly, MA deals with shipments to and from all around the globe. Yourmainresponsibilities: Inspects and packages materials for shipment Operates all related material handling equipment as authorized, including fork lifts, cranes, hand carts, etc. Accurately records shipments and receipts into ERP database program. Receives,inspects,distributesand/orstoresallincominggoodsandmaterials. Generatescommercial shippingandreceiving documentation. Picksandships “shipfrom stock” materials. Monitorsandinforms supervisor ofshipping/receivingmaterialrequirements(i.e.boxes,etc.) Helps maintain area by sweeping and cleaning floors regularly Support Production Departments in times of shorthanded situations As needed, utilize machining equipment to support manufacturing efforts Collects and moves completed orders from production to Shipping and Receiving as needed Preferredminimumofthreeyears’experience in shipping and receiving for a manufacturer Experience with ERP systems strongly preferred Weoffer: Salarycommensuratewithexperienceandtheresponsibilitiesoftherole.
