As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Trenton, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism and care. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical assist calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Carry authorized weapons and related equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards, maintaining professionalism and readiness while performing assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
