Position Position: Nurse Manager Job Type: Full‑Time / Non‑Exempt Shift Details: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On Call As Needed – Based On Business Needs) Work Location: OH, Franklin Crisis, Columbus, OH 43223 Salary/Hourly Wage: $95,000 – $109,000/Yearly Specialties / Licenses Or Certifications Valid and current state‑specific RN license. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required. Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible nursing experience, including two (2) years of behavioral health nursing and two (2) years of management experience. Summary of Job The Nurse Manager position is responsible for all nursing services under the direction of the Site Leader. The Nurse Manager also works closely with the Medical Director to coordinate and improve clinical care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervises, evaluates, and provides leadership and coaching to nursing personnel. Arranges coverage for nurse absences. Provides clinical supervision to nursing staff. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensures the delivery of nursing care complies with licensing regulations and accreditation standards. Completes clinical documentation as required. Responsible for specific level of care in the building. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes, and medical care. Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services. Additional Duties: Works as an RN in a variety of capacities during staff shortages and in emergent situations. Performs other related duties assigned. Education/Licenses: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific Registered Nurse license (Compact licensure preferred). Experience: Four (4) years of nursing experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Two (2) years of behavioral health nursing. Two (2) years of management experience. Skills: Basic computer skills. Attention to detail. Problem‑solving. Communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective listening skills. Excellent documentation skills. Judgment and discretion. Ability to pass de‑escalation training as defined by state requirements. Driving Requirements: If driving is required, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy. Non‑driver attestation form if not qualified to drive per policy. Miscellaneous Requirements: Travel required based on business need. Must be at least 18 years old unless state regulations set a different minimum. Successful completion of the comprehensive credentialing process if applicable. Maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism. Second‑Chance Employer: Must pass a seven‑year background check. Must pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable). Must pass education verification check. Must obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states. Must pass a three‑year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier if driving is required. Physical Demands May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye‑hand‑foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region. ADDENDUM – State Specific Requirements Arizona Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific RN license. Must be 21 years or older. California Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific RN license. Delaware Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific RN license. Louisiana Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state specific RN license. 5+ years experience as an RN. Must be 24 years or older. Maryland Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific RN license. North Carolina Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific RN license. 5+ years experience as an RN. Ohio Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific RN license. Washington Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state‑specific RN license.
