This full-time contract position is tailored for professionals who are passionate about individualized instruction and positively impacting middle school learners. As a vital member of the education team, you’ll provide both ELA and Math support to a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students, ensuring each receives targeted assistance according to their learning needs.

Enjoy a unique schedule with work hours running from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, allowing for long weekends and a balanced work-life routine. This role spans the school year, giving you the opportunity to see your students grow and progress over meaningful timeframes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials or certification, with eligibility to work in Arizona schools
• Prior experience as a Resource Teacher is highly preferred
• Deep understanding of tailoring ELA and Math instruction to diverse learning needs
• Ability to manage and support a caseload of roughly 30 students in both small group and individual settings
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and maintaining organized records
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom culture

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs for assigned students
• Deliver targeted instruction in ELA and Math, adapting lessons to meet varied academic abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Engage regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and support strategies
