W Talent is partnering with a leading organisation within the Financial Services sector to appoint a Lead Data Engineer as part of a significant investment in its Data & Analytics capability. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team responsible for delivering enterprise-scale data solutions that support critical business operations, analytics and decision‑making. We’re keen to speak with experienced Data Engineers who can combine strong technical expertise with the ability to lead, influence and drive best practice across a complex data environment. Key skills and experience include: Spark (Python and/or Scala) Advanced SQL and data warehousing Building and optimising large-scale ETL pipelines Data architecture and solution design Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams You’ll work closely with architects, business stakeholders, analytics teams and senior leadership to deliver modern, cloud-based data products and help shape the future direction of the organisation’s data platform. Candidates can be based in Cary, North Carolina, New York, or New Jersey, with the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative and highly visible data function.
