Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and efficient patient care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in medical-surgical nursing and demonstrate strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, record vital signs, and document findings accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies to ensure safety and comfort.
• Adhere to compliance standards including RTO policies and travel requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state or a compact license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a medical-surgical setting required; 3+ years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license to include with submission.
• Proven experience with Level I or Level II Trauma cases preferred.
• Prior travel experience (at least one completed assignment) required.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred.
