Database Architect

Salary: $60,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 2 years of experience with Python, PySpark, GitLab, Databricks and/or Jupyter Notebook, Secure File Gateway (SFG), and Magic.
• We require at least 2 years of experience with JavaScript and SQL development.
• We require at least 2 years of experience with Navy Reserve data systems and Advana/Jupyter.
• We require at least 6 months of experience managing or modifying Alchemy pipeline code.
• We require a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, a scientific field, or another technical discipline.
• We require an active Secret clearance.
• We require U.S. citizenship to obtain a clearance.

• We support the Chief of Navy Reserve and Commander, Navy Reserve Forces mission by enabling data-driven decision-making through data management, stewardship, advanced analytics, AI, process automation, innovation, and digital modernization.
• We analyze, compile, and apply contemporary industry standards and methods to expand and sustain an authoritative data ecosystem for the Navy Reserve.
• We manage enterprise data pipelines, architectures, observability, and governance.
• We automate data feeds from multiple systems into a consolidated data environment.
• We conduct capability gap assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions.
• We develop and implement integration strategies to expand and optimize an interoperable data ecosystem across legacy systems.
