Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment, full-time hours expected depending on facility needs

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and relevant therapies for patients of all ages
• Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed
• Operate and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and related equipment
• Measure arterial blood gases and interpret results accurately
• Document care, patient progress, and responses according to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient management
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (or eligibility for Iowa licensure)
• BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP preferred)
• Recent inpatient or acute care experience highly desirable
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
