Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, evaluating students’ emotional, social, and academic needs and collaborating with teachers and school staff to ensure holistic support.

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, focusing on adjustment issues, anxiety, grief, and coping strategies, enabling them to thrive in their school environment.

  • Develop and implement strategic intervention plans based on assessment results, facilitating educational success and emotional well-being.

  • Coordinate with community organizations to provide access to additional resources and post-discharge services, fostering a continuum of care beyond the school setting.

  • Offer emotional support and educational resources to families regarding treatment options and available community services.

  • Participate in school-based committees, providing valuable insights into social work practices, and enhancing the school’s approach to mental health and well-being.

Your primary focus will be on students and their families within the educational sector. Understanding the unique pressures and challenges that young individuals face today is crucial. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school.

  • Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus as part of our welcoming package.
