QC Chemistry Technician
Location: Newark, DE (Onsite)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Rotating 12 hour shifts (Days & Nights)
Pay Rate: $30.00 to $32.per hour About the Opportunity
Zing Recruiting is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer to add two QC Chemistry Technicians to their onsite Quality Control Laboratory. This is a hands on analytical role supporting real time testing for a high throughput, continuous production environment.
You’ll join a collaborative QC team known for strong technical expertise, problem-solving, and a culture of continuous learning. Responsibilities
Quality & Analytical Testing

• Perform wet chemistry and analytical testing: pH, conductivity, viscosity, particle size/sieving, dry analysis, and GC
• Receive and test samples from multiple active production lines every two hours
• Deliver real time results to support process adjustments

Production Environment Support

• Work closely with operations during:
  • Dryer operations
  • Spray drying
  • Coating and blending
  • Multiple parallel manufacturing processes
• Communicate clearly regarding required process modifications

Documentation & Compliance

• Enter QC results into LIMS (SoftTrace)
• Complete required paper documentation for packaging and deposit data
• Follow all GMP, safety, and site quality procedures

Schedule

• 12 hour shifts (7AM–7PM or 7PM–7AM)
• 48 hours one week / 36 hours the next
• Rotating days/nights every 28 days
• 2 weekends on, 2 weekends off
• 7 day break built into the rotation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory
• Experience with wet chemistry, analytical instrumentation, and routine QC testing
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
• Comfortable working onsite on 12 hour rotating shifts
