This position pays $18.42 plus tips from a shared tip pool.

With tips included, our servers average over $30/hour.

As a high-volume brunch restaurant, Saturdays & Sundays are required work days.

Red Maple is a table-service restaurant serving a full breakfast and lunch menu, including gourmet sandwiches, salads, bowls, and an extensive specialty beverage program (including coffee, tea, etc).

Job Summary:

Take orders at the table, as well as to-go orders using TOAST Point of Sale

Preparing and serving various beverage items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares beverages for customers using standard measures and recipes.

Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.

Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.

Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.

Side work including rolling silverware.

Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.

Having a thorough knowledge of the menu items and their respective ingredients and being able to accurately explain each dish and beverage to guests.

Cleaning equipment and workstations thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.

Greeting customers courteously and interacting in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Assisting in seating guests based on Company's procedures.

Relaying relevant concerns from customers to management so appropriate action can be taken.

Serving customers quickly and efficiently, and preventing delays in serving times.

Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the guest's decision-making process.

Ensures all displayed foods are attractively displayed per standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements for employment:

Valid driver’s license or state ID

Be authorized to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation

Must have at least 12 months of restaurant full-service experience

Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work effectively within a team

Strong attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Continuous use of hands and arms

Continuous bending, reaching and twisting

Must be SERVSAFE Food Handler Certified

Bi-lingual is a plus
