Responsibilities
- Perform pre-procedure nursing assessments and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures.
- Assist the gastroenterology team during endoscopic procedures, monitor patient status, and support sedation administration under protocol.
- Maintain sterile technique, manage equipment readiness, and support room turnover between cases.
- Monitor vital signs, oversee post-procedure recovery and discharge instructions, and document in the patient record.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia staff, and nursing colleagues to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Comply with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards for endoscopy services.

Requirements
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Endoscopy nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work 8-hour rotating shifts (5x8)
- Eligible for travel assignments and available for an 8-week contract starting 08/17/2026
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements and obtain facility-specific credentials as needed
