This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, and HVAC system installation who is looking to grow with a fast‑paced, expanding company. The position will be heavily involved in the fabrication and installation of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, and exhaust components. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble sheet metal ductwork and components for commercial kitchen exhaust systems Perform welding and metal fabrication for custom exhaust hood systems Install commercial kitchen hoods, duct systems, exhaust fans, and related components Read and interpret blueprints, job specs, and mechanical drawings Ensure all work meets NFPA standards and local code requirements Work alongside installation crews to complete projects on time and to company standards Assist with job site preparation, layout, and material handling Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper condition Communicate effectively with project managers and team members on job progress Qualifications Experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding (required) Background in commercial or industrial HVAC systems (required) Experience with ductwork fabrication and installation (strongly preferred) Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and plans Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Compensation & Benefits Base salary + performance‑based compensation/bonus structure Company vehicle provided Fuel card provided Company uniforms provided Tools and equipment provided Generous PTO policy Opportunity for growth and advancement within a rapidly expanding company Travel Most work is located in Atlanta and Metro Atlanta Some travel required to other areas throughout Georgia About Hoods Unlimited Hoods Unlimited is a rapidly growing company specializing in commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including cleaning, repairs, and installations.
