Role Overview
The Service Operations Specialist manages day-to-day service execution for SPX PUDO and Returns operations, with a primary focus on supporting Vinted.
This role works closely with Regional Management, SC teams, DSPs, Hubs, and QC to monitor service performance, identify execution gaps, and drive recovery actions. The position ensures operational issues are followed through with clear owners, timelines, and closure. Preferred work location: LAX or JFK.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Governance
- Review service performance by Region and SC on a daily basis
- Identify service gaps, backlogs, and execution risks
- Coordinate recovery actions with RGM, Regional QC, and SC teams
- Escalate blockers and track actions through closure
SC Execution Control
- Monitor SOP execution for pickup, receiving, sorting, PtC, and dispatch
- Track daily SC-to-Hub movement and hub receiving completion
- Work directly with SC and DSP teams to correct operational misses
- Ensure unresolved issues are clearly handed over and followed up
QC and KPI Recovery
- Track key KPIs including Pickup OTP, receiving, PtC, dispatch, and hub receiving
- Identify root cause, responsible owner, and recovery timeline for missed targets
- Monitor actions until KPI performance recovers
- Highlight recurring issues requiring Process, Tech, or training improvement
Key Deliverables
- Daily service performance review
- Region and SC action tracker
- KPI recovery plan
- Operational issue and escalation log
- Daily backlog and exception monitoring
- SC-to-Hub execution tracking
- Weekly performance and recovery summary
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, parcel delivery, transportation, or service operations
- Strong understanding of parcel handling workflows and operational KPIs
- Experience working with Regional teams, SCs, DSPs, or Hubs preferred
- Strong follow-through and practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze operational data using Excel, BI dashboards, and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working directly with frontline Operations and Regional Management
- Preferred work location: LAX or JFK
