Key qualifications and experience:

• Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
• School-based experience—prior work in educational settings is essential
• Familiarity with self-contained classrooms and/or early childhood centers highly preferred
• Comfortable managing elementary and/or secondary caseloads, potentially split between two campuses
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility for on-site service delivery across different school locations; remote/virtual work is not available for this opportunity

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEP guidelines
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Deliver therapy services directly—both for individual and group sessions—in self-contained and general education settings
• Maintain detailed student records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Assist in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
• Provide guidance and support to school staff regarding effective communication strategies
