Staff Accountant

Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will provide support to the Controller in the monthly processing and preparation of financial transactions for the purpose of issuing accurate financial statements and to provide support to the accounting department.Duties/Responsibilities:Prepare and post monthly journal entriesPrepare balance sheet account reconciliationsMonthly close of financial recordsAssist in tracking fixed assetsPrepare financial reports for managementEnsure that company financial records, under responsibility, are maintained in compliance with company policies and GAAPPrepare and file sales use tax returnsResponsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent customer service and communication skillsOrganizational skills and attention to detailTime management with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExperience with QuickbooksExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, preferredMinimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Office SuiteEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1-2 years general accounting experiencePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerAbility to lift 15 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr The Recreational Group LLC
