Job Description
Job Title: Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner

Profession: Advanced Practice

Shift: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of clean NPDB, clean malpractice, and clean background check required
License: Active DEA Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS/APLS
Must-Have: Board Certified

Description:
This position is for a Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner.
The provider will be required to work both day and night shifts.
For the day shift, the provider will be in-house from 7am to 7pm.
For the night shift, the provider will be on call from 7pm to 7am and must be within 10 minutes of the facility.
Providers must be willing to work nights and weekends.
The daily patient encounters will range from 15 to 20 patients.
Candidates will undergo a team interview process.
The facility operates at a trauma level of 1.
Providers will not see adult patients; the maximum age for patients is 16-17 years old.
Emergency credentials are preferable, and clean files are required.
Flexibility in scheduling is available, with options for 3-4 shifts a week or more for full-time coverage.
