Job Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Georgia Bar license (required) [linkedin.com]
7+ years of civil litigation experience (medical malpractice or insurance defense preferred) [linkedin.com]
Experience with motion practice, depositions, and case management [reedglobal.us]
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills [reedglobal.us]
Ability to independently manage files in a fast-paced litigation environment
Job Details

Handle all phases of medical malpractice defense litigation, including case evaluation, strategy development, and trial preparation [linkedin.com]
Manage an active caseload involving physicians, hospitals, and healthcare systems [linkedin.com]
Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and discovery
Take and defend fact and expert depositions, including medical experts [ziprecruiter.com]
Attend hearings, mediations, and trials across Georgia
Analyze medical records and work with expert witnesses to develop defense strategies
Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and healthcare professionals to provide case updates and risk assessments
Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on high-exposure matters
