Registered Nurse Cardiac Stepdown

Job Summary:

Experienced Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse needed to provide specialized care for cardiac and telemetry patients. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry and step-down experience with specific drips and advanced cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver expert nursing care to cardiac patients on the telemetry unit, ensuring patient stability and safety.
  
  
• 
  Administer and monitor critical drips including Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardiezm, and Dopamine, adhering to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assist with pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac catheterizations, CABG, TAVR, and other interventions.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all clinical and hospital policies, maintaining certifications and licensure validity.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold valid CA RN license, uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Possess current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications, with expiration dates clearly documented.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry and step-down experience, specifically with drips listed.
  
  
• 
  Have experience working in a PCU or step-down unit with a solid understanding of cardiac protocols.
  
  
• 
  Be able to complete all onboarding requirements within 3-5 days of contract offer.
  
  
• 
  Provide at least 2 recent work references within the last year.
