We’re seeking an experienced Senior Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic procedural imaging team. This role is ideal for a technologist who enjoys working alongside physicians during complex interventions, thrives in fast-paced clinical environments, and is ready to serve as a team lead .

You’ll support a broad range of Interventional Radiology, Angiography, Neuro-Interventional, and Diagnostic Radiology procedures while helping deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Angiography, Interventional Radiology, and Diagnostic Radiology .
  
  
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
  
  
• Serve as a team lead , supporting workflow and collaborating with the imaging and procedural team.
  
  
• Prepare equipment and the procedure room for complex interventions.
  
  
• Communicate procedure information, preparation requirements, and expectations to patients and families.
  
  
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection prevention, regulatory, and quality standards.
  
  

Procedures You May Support

Interventional Radiology

• PICC, port, tunneled catheter, and other vascular access procedures
  
  
• Dialysis access interventions
  
  
• Image-guided abscess, biliary, nephrostomy, pleural, and peritoneal drain placements
  
  
• Image-guided liver, kidney, lung, lymph node, and soft-tissue biopsies
  
  
• Additional vascular and interventional procedures
  
  

Neuro-Interventional Radiology

• Cerebral and spinal angiography
  
  
• Endovascular aneurysm coiling and flow diversion
  
  
• Mechanical thrombectomy for acute stroke
  
  
• AVM and AVF embolization
  
  
• Carotid and intracranial stenting
  
  
• Acute neurovascular emergency interventions
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of relevant imaging experience
  
  
  
  
• Associate’s degree or equivalent education
  
  
• Active ARRT certification
  
  
  
  
• Active Maryland State License
  
  
  
  
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification
  
  
  
  
• Advanced CT certification preferred/required as applicable
  
  
• Strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and ability to work effectively in high-acuity procedural environments
  
  
• Ability to collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the care team
