Senior Database DeveloperWe are seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, develop, optimize, and manage database solutions for a cloud native application deployed on Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep expertise in Azure SQL / SQL Server, strong ownership of database design and performance, and hands on involvement in CI/CD driven database deployments using PowerShell.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL / SQL Server databases to support enterprise grade applicationsDevelop and optimize T SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexesEnsure database performance, scalability, availability, and data integrityPartner closely with application developers to support backend and full stack featuresImplement and manage database deployments using PowerShell and automated release pipelinesSupport CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHubPerform schema versioning, migration, partitioning, and release coordination across environmentsTroubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning and root cause analysisEnforce database security, access controls, and best practicesRequired Skills & Experience:Strong experience as a Senior Database Developer or equivalent roleAdvanced expertise in SQL Server / Azure SQLStrong T SQL development skills (stored procedures, indexing, query optimization)Experience with Azure hosted databases and cloud based architecturesHands on experience with PowerShell for database deployment and automationExperience working with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub for version controlSolid understanding of database design principles and data modelingExperience supporting applications built on .NET / C# (backend integration)Nice to Have:Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM, or TerraformExperience with database monitoring, performance diagnostics, and tuning in AzureFamiliarity with security, auditing, and compliance requirementsExperience in Agile/Scrum delivery environmentsWork Style:Individual contributor role with strong ownership of database architecture and delivery. Collaborative mindset, working closely with full stack, backend, and DevOps teams.
