Junior Engineer

Working with and learning from senior engineers in the creation of cad drawings, estimating costs, customer service / technical assistance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain and update CAD drawings for standard cutting tool product. Review customer order requests compare to previous orders and update CAD drawings as needed. Create CAD drawings for new special cutting tools buy researching previous similar orders. Aids in the development and continuous improvement of procedures. Aids in retrieving historical and trace ability information for new and previous requests. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as the fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
