Summary/Objective:

The CDL Operator will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations. This mixed lane/multi-regional CDL Operator position allows operation flexibility to be local, regional or over the road driving.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training, guidelines and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
• Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
• Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
• Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc.
• Wash and clean company equipment - Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
• General housekeeping - sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized.
• Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs - Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.

Qualifications :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 Years’ experience required behind an 18-wheeler.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Must possess a valid TWIC card or be able to obtain one.
• Must possess a Medical Examiner’s Certificate or be able to obtain one.
• Must be capable of passing a hair follicle and urine drug screen.
• Must be capable of passing a personal background screen.
• Must be capable of passing an MVR background screen.
• Some positions require Commercial Driver - Pneumatic/Vacuum Operator runs under the FMCSA 70-hour rule.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time traversing the lower 48,
• Willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week as needed.
• Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
• Willing to perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Willing to understand and follow all given directions.
• Some positions require HAZMAT or TANKER Endorsements or ability to obtain.
• Some positions allow for AUTO restrictions.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time.
• Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Physically capable of working in all inclement weather conditions.
