divh2Heavy Equipment Mechanic/h2pWe are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the Oak Hills, CA area. Mechanics will work with machines and equipment used in deep foundation drilling to inspect, repair and maintain them with minimal down time. Mechanics must have sufficient industry knowledge to independently troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical failures. This includes:/pulliEnsure operation of machinery, equipment, and trucks by completing routine preventive maintenance on engines, motors, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, high pressure air systems, fuel systems, and mechanical systems./liliInspect, repair, remove, and replace defective or damaged parts using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools./liliPrepare maintenance reports by collecting, and summarizing information on work orders./liliRead and comprehend technical publications and schematics./liliComplete shop related duties as needed./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMechanic must have their own tools./liliValid drivers license./liliValid insurance./liliMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening./liliKnowledge of equipment with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills./li/ulpWorking Environments:/pulliOutdoor environments with prolonged exposure to weather conditions such as sun, rain, snow, and cold./liliIn and around construction zones with uneven and muddy terrain./liliEquipment yards with shops that are open to exterior environments with no air conditioning./liliJob sites, construction zones, and yards with moving equipment, cranes, and machinery./liliElevated positions while working on equipment such as drill rigs, excavators, and cranes./li/ulpEmployees must also be able to safely work with the following heavy equipment systems while in the environments listed above:/pulliMoving mechanical components./liliElectrical systems and components./liliHydraulic systems and components./liliFuel systems and flammable liquids./liliHazardous liquids and agents./liliTruck mounted cranes./liliHigh pressure air systems./liliHigh pressure pumping systems./liliCranes and rigging systems./li/ulpCompensation:/pulliPay is commensurate with experience and qualifications, hourly-based, and disbursed weekly./li/ulpBenefits:/pulli401(k) retirement plan./liliInsurance Medical, Dental, Life, Vision./liliShort- and Long-Term Disability./liliVacation, Paid Holidays, and Jobsite pay increases./li/ulpWork Location:/pulliHourly position based in Oak Hills, CA./li/ulpWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workforce.
