Job Overview

A well-established and growing physician-owned primary care practice is seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join its clinical team in Live Oak, TX.

The practice emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care and values building long-term relationships with patients while allowing providers adequate time per visit.

Experience is preferred; however, all qualified candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting

• Perform medical evaluations, examinations, and assessments

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies

• Prescribe medications and treatment plans within scope of practice

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required

• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and clinical staff

• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records (EHR)

Education & Qualifications

• Board Certified FNP-C / FNP-BC or PA-C

• Active and unrestricted Texas state license

• Active DEA license

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR medical charting systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Team-oriented, adaptable, and flexible
