Overview

We currently have two job openings in a CNC Machine shop. We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist or Operator to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. If you have a passion for precision machining and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications while ensuring safety and efficiency in our operations.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards using measuring tools.
Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve processes and resolve production issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
Proven experience as a CNC lathe machinist or operator, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with measuring tools and quality control processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting.
