Overview
We currently have two job openings in a CNC Machine shop. We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist or Operator to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. If you have a passion for precision machining and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications while ensuring safety and efficiency in our operations.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards using measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve processes and resolve production issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC lathe machinist or operator, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting.
