We are looking to fill this position  immediately . Qualified candidates  must be available to begin work right away and be able to complete training as scheduled.

Candlewood Suites St. Charles, an IHG Hotel, is seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and understand that cleanliness is one of the most important factors in delivering an exceptional guest experience. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas while ensuring every room meets  IHG Brand Standards before it is made available for guest arrival.

$17 hourly

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly according to  IHG Brand Standards and hotel procedures.

• Make beds, replace linens, towels, and guest amenities.

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and all guest room surfaces.

• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, clean mirrors, windows, and appliances.

• Inspect completed rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality expectations.

• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and safety hazards immediately.

• Report all lost and found items following hotel procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked housekeeping cart.

• Follow all safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals without compromising quality.

• Provide courteous and professional service to all guests and fellow team members.

• Assist with cleaning public areas when needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Flexible scheduling based on hotel occupancy and business needs.

• Overtime opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

• Must be willing to learn and consistently clean rooms according to  IHG Brand Standards .

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.

• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and walk for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
