Forklift Operator Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  
• Knowledge of basic forklift and material-handling procedures
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced wheel-manufacturing environment
  
• Ability to organize and stage materials correctly

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to support wheel-manufacturing operations.
  
• Move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility.
  
• Supply production areas with the materials needed to maintain workflow.
  
• Load and unload materials as assigned.
  
• Stage products and materials in designated locations.
  
• Transport completed wheels and components to assigned areas.
  
• Verify material quantities and locations for accuracy.
  
• Keep aisles, storage areas, and production-support areas organized.
  
• Inspect the forklift before use and report equipment concerns.
  
• Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and safety hazards.
  
• Follow all forklift, manufacturing, and workplace-safety procedures.
  
• Perform additional forklift and material-handling duties as assigned.
