Management Accountant

About the Role Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Management Accountant to support their operations, operating on a remote basis. This role is pivotal in providing financial insights and analysis that drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and cost management. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying key drivers and variances. Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership. Conduct cost accounting activities, including cost analysis and control measures. Implement and refine management accounting systems and processes. Provide financial modeling and decision support for strategic initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management. Professional designation such as CIMA, SAICA, or SAIPA is essential. 5+ years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong understanding of business operations and key performance indicators.
