Together, we advance your career Job Role and Responsibility AMD Design, LLC, a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring a Sr. Test Engineer to contribute to both the Electrical and Platform level validation of server platforms. Work with cross‑functional teams to aid in developing and executing test plans which will verify product functionality, adherence to electrical specifications, and production requirements. Execute software stack and use‑case testing. Perform debugging, identify root cause, and resolve issues as they occur. Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering processes. Conduct test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies. Track and summarize test results and collaborate in automation efforts for validation. Travel required: NO Qualifications: Degree Required Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, or related field. Qualifications: Amount and Type of Experience Required Two (2) years of experience in a job offered or closely related engineering role. Specific Skills Required Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: Hardware and software verification Product development lifecycles Unix and Linux environments Scripting using Python, Bash, and PowerShell GPU, SoC, or CPU architecture Linux and Windows internals Server systems Software debugging (macOS, Linux, or Unix) Git Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
