Senior Environmental Project Manager Location: Irvine, California Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 base salary D.O.E. Strong pipeline of complex site investigation and remediation projects Opportunity to lead high-profile environmental programs with significant technical challenges Greater autonomy and influence than is typically available within large multinational consulting firms Clear pathways for career advancement and leadership growth Collaborative culture with direct access to senior leadership and decision-makers Ability to contribute meaningfully to both project execution and business growth Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver environmental investigation and remediation projects from planning through completion Lead multidisciplinary teams of environmental scientists, geologists, engineers, and technical specialists Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations Provide technical leadership on complex remediation and site characterization programs Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies Support business development efforts, including client relationship management, proposal preparation, RFP responses, and strategic pursuits Mentor junior and mid-level staff and contribute to team development initiatives Collaborate with leadership on project strategy, resource planning, and growth objectives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline 12+ years of environmental consulting experience 5+ years of project management and multidisciplinary team leadership experience Demonstrated experience leading site investigation and remediation projects for large, technically complex sites Strong understanding of environmental regulations, remedial technologies, and project delivery best practices Proven client management and business development experience, including bid preparation and proposal development Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience managing federal environmental projects and contracts Established relationships with public and private sector clients Experience leading large project teams and managing multiple concurrent projects Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a technically strong environmental consulting professional who enjoys both managing projects and developing people.
