Role Description

The Travel Advisor role is an in-office full-time position responsible for supporting clients with end-to-end travel planning and booking. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients to understand their travel needs, researching destinations and travel options, and arranging transportation, accommodations, and activities for leisure travelers. The Travel Advisor will provide accurate, timely information on travel requirements, promotions, and packages, and handle changes, cancellations, and special requests. This role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and using agency systems and tools to manage reservations and travel documentation efficiently.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients and suppliers.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Travel Arrangements and Travel Agency operations, including booking systems, itineraries, and documentation.
• Knowledge of leisure travel products, including group travel, cruises, and destination packages, is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
• Ability to work in-office from 8:00AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday and 8:00AM - 1:00PM Friday.
• Prior experience as a travel advisor or in a related travel industry role is preferred.
