In this contract role, you'll work onsite part-time, just two days per week, providing crucial services to a diverse caseload of 21 students in a collaborative educational environment near New Lexington, OH. Your expertise will help young learners achieve greater independence and reach their fullest potential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid and current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Ohio
• Experience or strong interest in working with PreK-12 populations
• Previous school-based PT experience is highly valued
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong clinical judgment and creative problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical development and functional abilities in alignment with IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored for the needs of each student
• Track progress, complete thorough documentation, and maintain accurate reports
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating on student objectives and strategies
• Provide guidance and support to educators and caregivers to reinforce physical therapy strategies in the classroom
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for student growth
