Pre-Admit Testing: RNII Per Diem Days

RN‑PD Admission Testing @ St. Peter’s Hospital Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift The RN in Pre‑Admission Testing works with patients in their pre‑surgical experience prior to the day of surgery. Responsibilities include patient assessment, coordination of needed services, pre‑operative teaching, medical review of charts, resolving diagnostic test issues, and daily interface with physicians, office staff, and the anesthesia department. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessment for pre‑operative readiness. Coordinate necessary services before surgery. Provide pre‑operative teaching to patients for all types of surgery. Perform medical review of charts and resolve diagnostic test issues prior to surgery. Communicate daily with physicians, office staff, and anesthesia department. Support 13 surgical services covering General, Thoracic, Cardiac, etc. Qualifications Current NYS RN license. ASN or BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year of acute‑care nursing experience. Minimum 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred. Pay Range: $40‑$53.10 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
