Location: Northern Oklahoma City, OK (Chisholm Creek)
Pay: $18.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Night Shift; weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and on-call coverage may be required

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our team in the Northern Oklahoma City, OK area and work on our night shift. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced water or wastewater professional to operate, monitor, and maintain treatment systems that provide safe, reliable service to the communities we serve. Licensed wastewater operators looking for a night shift schedule are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

As a Water/Wastewater Treatment Operator, you will monitor and operate treatment processes and equipment to help ensure safe, reliable, and compliant facility operations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and processes
• Monitor pumps, valves, motors, chemical feed systems, disinfection equipment, and other treatment equipment
• Monitor facility operations through SCADA and control systems
• Inspect equipment and identify abnormal operating conditions, equipment issues, or potential maintenance needs
• Collect water and wastewater samples and perform routine testing and laboratory analyses
• Record flow rates, chemical usage, process conditions, equipment performance, and other operational data
• Make operational adjustments as needed to maintain proper treatment processes
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, tanks, and related equipment
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and operational problems
• Respond to equipment failures, alarms, emergencies, and other operational issues
• Maintain accurate shift logs, inspection records, maintenance records, and regulatory documentation
• Maintain clean and orderly treatment areas
• Follow company safety procedures, environmental regulations, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, maintenance personnel, and other departments
• Participate in rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as required

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work night shift, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and participate in an on-call schedule as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in confined spaces
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow safety procedures and accurately document facility operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Oklahoma water or wastewater operator certification
• Previous experience working in water treatment, wastewater treatment, water utilities, wastewater operations, or a related field
• Experience with SCADA systems
• Experience with pumps, valves, motors, chemical feed systems, disinfection systems, or other treatment equipment
• Experience performing water or wastewater sampling and laboratory testing
• Mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation experience
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and water/wastewater treatment processes
• Technical degree or coursework in water/wastewater, environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field
