In this role, you'll ensure dishes, glassware, silverware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service. Working closely with culinary, banquet, and outlet teams, you'll play a vital part in creating smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.Who You Are:Dedicated and Detail-Oriented: You take pride in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization while supporting a fast-paced operation.Clear Communicator: You follow instructions with precision and collaborate effectively with team members to keep service running smoothly.Proactive and Efficient: You anticipate needs and complete tasks quickly, even under tight timelines and high-demand periods.Physically Capable: You're comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and working in a dynamic environment.Multi-Tasking Expert: You manage multiple responsibilities at once without compromising quality or attention to detail.Veterans and military spouses encouraged to apply.What You'll Do:Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware to maintain the highest hygiene standards.Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual cleaning when needed to ensure efficiency and quality.Organize and store cleaned items in their designated areas for easy access and smooth operations.Keep kitchen floors, walls, counters, and equipment spotless, creating a safe and sanitary work environment.Support culinary, banquet, and outlet teams by organizing equipment and supplies for seamless service.Deliver clean plates, utensils, and other essentials to kitchen or service areas promptly.Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to hotel standards, maintaining cleanliness in all disposal areas.Sanitize trash bins and maintain cleanliness in waste management zones.Monitor cleaning supply inventory and restock as needed to keep operations running smoothly.Report broken or malfunctioning equipment promptly to the Executive Steward or Stewarding Supervisor.Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow all established safety procedures.Adhere to health and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling practices.Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.Participate in regular safety training and team meetings to stay informed and prepared.Regular attendance in conformance with standards.May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.Your Qualifications Include:Previous experience in kitchen, cleaning, or hospitality-related work, preferred.Must have multi-tasking skills, internal/external customer service skills.Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting heavy items, standing for long periods, and operating cleaning equipment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Loews Hotels & Co is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and pregnancy-related conditions), gender identity or expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws and ordinances. #J-18808-Ljbffr
