Job Details Location: Louisville, KY 40217 Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM Hours Per Week: 36 Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 13, 2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU), acute inpatient care Employment Type: Travel nursing On-Site: Yes Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience BLS certification ACLS certification NIH certification or competency Epic EHR experience required Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to provide safe, effective care in a high-acuity progressive care environment Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments according to policy and patient condition Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care for progressive care patients Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Monitor, evaluate, and document responses to clinical interventions Provide patient and family education throughout the stay and at discharge Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel Serve as a mentor and preceptor to support nursing team development Support teamwork, quality improvement, patient safety, and service excellence initiatives Comply with regulatory standards, clinical protocols, and practice governance expectations Why This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
