About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Head of Product Tax to lead the tax strategy and compliance for a diverse portfolio of investment structures and products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing impactful tax strategy projects, collaborating with top-tier professionals and external advisors to optimize tax compliance, and driving innovation in tax structuring for diverse investment portfolios. Key responsibilities include providing expert tax advice on various investment types, managing tax compliance functions, and leading the tax team in fostering professional growth and excellence. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, with a CPA certification required and an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of experience in tax compliance and consulting, with 20 years' preferred, is necessary, along with expertise in private funds, fund-of-funds, and alternative investment structures. The role demands proficiency in reviewing LPAs, PPMs, and transactional documents, as well as strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and supervise teams, and advanced software and Microsoft Suite skills. Responsibilities also include maintaining relationships with major investors and providing exceptional client service.
