Open Source GitHub Maintainer

Review AI-generated code changes for open source repositories you maintain and help improve next-generation AI systems through expert technical feedback. This remote contract role is designed for experienced open source maintainers with a visible record of contributions. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate code patches generated by large language models for one or more repositories you maintain.
• Provide detailed written assessments and justification for each review decision.
• Conduct peer reviews of work submitted by other technical experts.
• Apply software engineering expertise to provide real-world input that helps train and evaluate AI systems.

• Experience maintaining an open source repository and reviewing contributor code.
• Clear, publicly visible open source contributions and profiles, such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Strong GitHub experience and proficiency in one or more of C++, Java, TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or C.
• Senior-level software engineering expertise. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Remote, open to applicants globally.
• Approximately 15 hours per week, with flexible hours and days, provided there is consistent activity.
• Selected candidates should be prepared to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.

• $150 to $300 per hour.
• Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications. Time required may vary by experience and workflow.
• Minimum submission requirements apply, including a minimum number of tasks each week.
