A well-established, locally owned Knoxville company is seeking an Accounting and Customer Service Coordinator to join their active, sales-oriented office environment. The company has been in business since 1998 and offers a family-oriented culture, business-casual environment, and a stable Monday–Friday schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, organization, order coordination, and working closely with a small team.

Location: Knoxville, TN
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $20–$30 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Work Arrangement: On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Assist with collections
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the order process after the sale
• Process customer orders and verify accuracy against purchase orders and supplier quotes
• Issue purchase orders and monitor order acknowledgements and ship dates
• Maintain customer files and prepare customer invoices
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service
• Communicate and coordinate closely with sales and office staff
• Ensure orders and related documentation are accurate and complete
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
• Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards

Qualifications

• Experience with Purchase Orders, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
• Strong customer service and telephone communication skills
• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and general computer skills
• CRM experience preferred
• Experience with Sage 50 or QuickBooks preferred
• Strong attention to detail with solid math and spreadsheet skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented with a positive, growth-minded approach
• Associate degree or equivalent college experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Must be comfortable working in an on-site office environment
