Enterprise Risk Reporting Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Reporting Consultant to support the design, enhancement, and implementation of enterprise risk reporting and executive dashboards within a financial services or regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of risk and controls, data governance, reporting automation, and business requirements analysis, with the ability to translate complex risk requirements into actionable reporting solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and implement enterprise risk reporting, executive dashboards, management reports, and committee/Board-level reporting.

• Partner with risk, business, technology, and senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and define appropriate solutions.

• Support First Line of Defense (FLOD) risk and control activities, including operational risk, issue management, risk metrics, control testing, complaints, events, and escalation governance.

• Perform data mapping, data lineage, reconciliation, and validation activities to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.

• Establish and maintain data quality controls, evidence retention processes, and audit-ready documentation.

• Automate data aggregation and reporting processes using Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, Excel, SharePoint, data warehouses, and/or GRC platforms.

• Translate business and risk requirements into functional specifications, dashboard designs, control documentation, and implementation plans.

• Identify reporting gaps, data issues, and control weaknesses and coordinate remediation with relevant stakeholders.

• Support reporting governance, documentation, quality assurance, and ongoing process improvements.

• Prepare clear status updates and communicate reporting risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, or enhancing enterprise risk reporting and executive dashboards in a financial services or regulated environment.

• Strong understanding of First Line of Defense (FLOD) risk and control concepts.

• Knowledge of operational risk, issue management, risk metrics, control testing, complaints, events, and escalation governance.

• Hands-on experience with data mapping, data lineage, reconciliations, data validation, and data quality controls.

• Advanced proficiency with Power BI and reporting/automation tools such as SQL, Power Platform, Excel, SharePoint, data warehouses, or GRC platforms.

• Experience automating data aggregation, reporting, and dashboard processes.

• Strong ability to translate business and risk reporting requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior management and risk stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Project management experience, including milestones, dependencies, status reporting, and issue escalation.

• Familiarity with Category III banking and regulatory reporting expectations.

• Experience working with enterprise risk management, GRC, or regulatory reporting platforms.
